Welcome to the website of the Church of Scotland's International Presbytery.  We're glad you're visiting. We hope you will feel part of our Christian family of faith, and know that you will find a warm welcome with us.

"Go, then, to all peoples, everywhere... you will be witnesses for me to the ends of the earth."

Jesus of Nazareth, c 30 AD

"We are a living and faithful presence for Jesus Christ through Europe and beyond, witnessing from places of need to corridors of power, and offering a spiritual home to all people.

"International Presbytery, 2016 AD

Thought for Saturday 6th March 2021
(from Rev E. Foggitt)

Psalm 22:23-24a

“You who fear the Lord, praise him!...  For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one...”

Ps22 begins with the agonised cry: “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” which Jesus uttered on the cross. Yet somehow - through patient perseverance - the psalmist comes to rediscover the presence of God in his life.

Reflection: “Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come.” (Anne Lamott)
