"Go, then, to all peoples, everywhere... you will be witnesses for me to the ends of the earth."

"We are a living and faithful presence for Jesus Christ through Europe and beyond, witnessing from places of need to corridors of power, and offering a spiritual home to all people.

(from Rev E. Foggitt)
1 Corinthians 6:13b
“The body…is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. ”
Not wanting to “lay down the law” - having previously argued against the Jewish Law - Paul is at pains to argue that sexual immorality is a denial of God’s claim on our lives. No-one is free who desecrates their own body - the temple of the Holy Spirit (v19).
Reflection: Are you comfortable with the idea of your body as the temple of the Holy Spirit? Should we also be careful what we eat and drink?
